Master craftsmen

“Simple spruce plywood crafted to create a bespoke and unique architectural feature”

We make the ordinary, extraordinary!

Our Master Craftsmen, employed directly within our Company,  are highly experienced with a firm grasp on traditional practices that have, for others in our industry, long since been forgotten. We invest heavily in our workforce – they are Sporn Construction – and to that end we encourage constant professional development to ensure they are proficient and knowledgeable on modern techniques. This ensures an innovative approach to projects coupled with the attention to detail and craftsmanship the traditional skills impart. Our image at all times is consistent with the highest standard of professional service we provide.

Our in house Master craftsman are supported by a professional management team. Each site has a dedicated Site Foreman, highly experienced in construction management, coupled with the exacting implementation of our rigorous Quality Assurance procedures. Detailed reporting protocols ensures that our contract management team headed by our Director Robin Sporn, are fully informed – an inclusive format to ensure efficient site operations and impeccable customer service.

Our award as a Chartered Building Company by the CIOB demonstrates our highest standards of construction management and continued commitment to continuous professional development. Our management team are backed by our in-house estimating and buying department. This ensures accuracy of every stage of the process from tender to completion.  We strive for perfection in everything that we do, and it is as a result of this effort and drive that we are able to achieve in our every day culture, the very highest standards our clients deserve.

For almost a decade we held an Investor In People Award, for the last six years until 2019, we were awarded Silver recognition by the Investors in People Board, which placed our company in the top 2% of all recognised companies. A testament to the value we place on each individual member of our team and the positive working and learning environment we create. In 2019 we decided to pursue new challenges, and enrolled in the Considerate Constructors scheme designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
