Progress at Hazel Terrace

March 30, 2012

Basement excavation and piling is complete on the restoration and extension of this large victorian terraced property. The basement slab is complete and preparation is underway for the basement facing walls. Masonry works to rebuild the detailed bay windows have been completed by our master masonry team. First fix to the existing house is also nearing completion.

Progress at Oak Manor

Phase 1 of the construction of this spectacular home. The outside rendering is complete. Second fix is due to commence at the end of next week.

Progress at Oak Stable

March 30, 2012

Construction has commenced on the conversion of two separate barns to form an outstanding home.  Stone masonry alterations are nearing completion. The steel frame to the main living area has been erected. The oak trusses have been formed by our master carpenters due to be lifted into place next week.

Construction continues of the basement and renovation works to the original building. The contiguous piling is complete and excavation works are underway. Current works to the original building includes the restoration of original sash windows.

Progress at Maple Terrace

Construction at Maple Terrace is complete save final quality assurance inspection. The success of the project has been the result of the collaborative approach afforded to the build between client, architect and ourselves. The meticulous attention to detail and a clear focus throughout the build has ensured the property retains its integrity. There is a clear definition between the old and the new but the two entwine with success. The lighting, the expanses of glass, and of course the spiral wine cellar have all played their part in creating a truly unique and beautiful home.

Sporn Construction in The Times Newspaper

Sporn construction featured in The Times Newspaper last week after Robin Sporn, Director, was elected to the Entrepeneurs Panel for the newspaper The Panel was set up specifically to comment on the forthcoming Chancellors statement. Robin, along with other Company Directors, was interviewed before the Autumn statement regarding his hopes and indeed again after the statement was issued on his reaction.
