Our Company is energized by the belief that our work will leave a positive lasting impression with our Clients. That being said, this does not mean that the work we do has to leave a lasting negative impression on the environment. All members of staff from the Directors to the labourers on site, are considerate to the environmental impact of the building process, from beginning, middle to end.

Staff are educated, trained in Ecological construction practices. We keep ourselves informed of new developments in "green building" but we go on to integrate those new techniques and or products which we believe have proven credentials.

Our Company is committed to providing "green" building solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of the projects that we build. Our initial focus is eco-minimalism, finding ways of saving and retaining energy in buildings, rather than energy – generating approaches which, while "green" can very often be an expensive and ineffectual solution. This approach leads us to be passionate proponents of Passivhaus design, which concentrates on super insulation, airtightness and use of passive solar gain to cut a building's space heating needs by 90% compared to a standard UK building.

The guidelines and legislation relating to Passivhaus and the Code for Sustainable Homes has made the selection of products a highly complex process. We are very pleased to be a supporter of GreenSpec, widely respected as the UK’s leading provider of independent green building design guidance.
